Consistent with its mission statement, MSI has Nordic skates available for newcomers to try the thrilling sport of long-distance skating. |

Nordic skates use a cross-country ski binding to attach a 17- or 19-inch skate blade to a cross-country ski boot. Skaters registered in a MSI event can use the skates for free for the first race. Subsequent rentals cost $15 per race.
Boots: We have major brands in our inventory: Alpina “Sport” boots, Hartjes, and Salomon. Except as noted, we have one pair of each size listed below; all sizes are Men's:

Blades: We have nine pairs of 17-inch and one pair of 19-inch Nordic blades, each with NNN bindings, plus two pairs of 19-inch blades for Salomon bindings.
Equipment available in the Montreal area and at MSI races, both upon prior arrangement. To inquire about availablity and to reserve a pair, let us know your shoe size and the race date: contact marathonskating at gmail dot com, subject "Skate Rental".
